We are now looking forward eagerly to the start of our next season. Our first rehearsal will be on Monday the 8th of September when we shall start learning a quartet of Magnificats by Bach, Finzi, Goodall and Stanford. The main work of the year will be a performance of Handel's 'Messiah' in Caperwray Hall in February with full orchestra and the concert in May will featutre a Requiem written by one of the choir members. We are extremely fortunate in having Ian Jones as our Musical Director and offer our gratefuil; thanks to him for his continued support for the choir at this time in particular.

We rehearse in the Borwick and Priest Hutton Memorial Hall at 7:00 on Monday evenings.

If you already sing with another choir but would like to join us for Merssiah we have a scheme for associate membership which would involve attending rehearsals in January and February only.
