The major work planned for 2024 will be Haydn's Creation, hopefully in Caperwray Hall in February.
Then in the summer we hope to perform Rutter's Requiem and works by Holst and Finzi.
Looking even further ahead, our musical dierector, Ian Jones has suggested that in subsequent years we sing the Glorias of Poulenc and Vivaldi, The Song of Hiawatha by Samuel Coleridge Taylor and Handel's Israel in Egypt.
As you can see, these are ambition plans and we shall need lots of singers so, if you are not already a member of our choir, do consider joining us. Do not worry if you cannot read music; every section of the choir has experienced mentors who will be glad to give you any help you need. Make a start by coming along to our Come & Sing event on September 10th. You can download an application form and even purchase tickets on our home page.
